BACKGROUND
Due to chronic water supply shortages during drought conditions and to improve the ability of the EDC to recruit new business to Bessemer City, the Cities of Bessemer City and Gastonia and Gaston County have agreed to jointly apply for a grant to fund a water interconnect between Gastonia and Bessemer City with the Two Rivers Utility System.
