BACKGROUND
The Gaston County Public Library was awarded $142,781 of Non-Recurring State Aid to Public Libraries, originating with the US Treasury Office as part of the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds under the American Rescue Plan Act. The funds are to be used at the library’s discretion for materials, salaries, equipment, and operating costs. The funds are being distributed by the North Carolina State Library.
