BACKGROUND

The County Police Department budget includes funds for replacement Tasers.  The current taser inventory is no longer under warranty and serviceable since December 2019.  Axon Enterprise, Inc. is the sole distributor and manufacturer of all taser brand products and equipment.  Approval of this Board Action allows the Police Department to purchase tasers from Axon Enterprise, Inc.
