Increase Federal revenues by $152,897 and appropriate $50,966 for Congregate Meal Sites and $101,931 for Home Delivered Meals.
BACKGROUND
The Department of Social Services Nutrition Program has been granted funds from the Families First COVID-19 Relief Act to support citizens with nutritional meals during the pandemic in the amount of $152,897. The funds are divided between C-1 (Congregate Sites) and C-2 (Home Delivered Meals). These federal funds are required to be allocated into the FY19-20 budget and will be carried forward into the FY20-21 budget in order to be used as intended by the grant. No additional county funds are required.
