Funds are included in the current budget for debt payments relative to the $1,099,728 Vehicles cost. Thirty-six months of financing are expected. The $180,688 for Equipment, Decals, Tag/Tax and Title Fees were included in the FY20 adopted budget and will not be financed.

BACKGROUND
Replacement Vehicles were approved with the adoption of the FY 19/20 Budget Ordinance. Funds for one (1) full size truck needs to be transferred from the General Fund to the Building Services Fund due to the transition of the Land Use Division and associated staff.

Police and Sheriff Dodge Chargers: Due to an early manufacturer cut off, the BOC approved Board Action 2019-299 at its Regular Meeting of 10/22/2019, and the Police and Sheriff Chargers were ordered per NC Sheriff's contract 19-05-0911R. However, after accepting the order, Dodge cancelled 4,000 Charger orders across the country including the County's order. This affects the Police and Sheriff. There are no other pursuit sedan options, so the attached pricing reflects NC Sheriff's Contract pricing for Ford Interceptor Utility vehicles.

DHHS-Social Services Vehicles: (2) Hybrid Midsize Sedans and (2) 7-Passenger Minivans - a formal bid was conducted per Uniform Guidance (UG) requirements since these vehicles will involve federal reimbursement.
