Accept grand funds of $5,000 and appropriate into the Petco Grant expense account.

BACKGROUND

Money received from the Petco Foundation Grant ($5,000) will be used to purchase cat cages for the adoption area in the new shelter.  Gaston County ACE would like the grant money to be appropriated to the current fiscal year 17-18 to allow for the purchase of appealing and comfortable housing for adoptable animals and to increase the live-release of dogs and cats from GC Animal Care and Enforcement.
