BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

Accept donation of $1,010 and appropriate into the Spay/Neuter Vouchers Account.

BACKGROUND

Money received in donations earmarked by donor for the spay/neuter voucher program are required to be transferred from the revenue fund to the expenditure fund. GCACE would like the donations ( $1,010) to be appropriated to the current fiscal year 17-18 into the spay/Neuter Voucher account  for use to provide funding to citizens that fall below 300% federal poverty level to assist in the spay/neuter of their pets. This will help decrease the number of unwanted pets in Gaston County.
