BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT
Request $3,607,703 to be carried forward - $3,184,395 in outside funding sources and $423,308 in county funds.
BACKGROUND
County departments have requested the carry forward of funds necessary for the completion of specific projects and/or grants. Specific funds to be carried forward are projected on the attached document. County dollars being requested for carry forwards are: $85,601 for Public Works Facilities - Furniture/Equipment; $116,538 for Public Works Facilities - FY 18 Jail Capital Needs; $11,420 for Sheriff’s Office - Bomb/Drug Dogs; $47,232 for GEMS - Furniture/Equipment; $31,488 for Rescue Squads - Furniture/Equipment; $131,029 in Vehicle Expenses for various departments (purchase, tax, title, tag, and signage.)
POLICY IMPACT
This will continue to fund programs/projects previously approved by the Board of Commissioners.
