Additional funds from the State of North Carolina Aid to Public Library fund program will be accepted and appropriated for the additional amount of $20,036.
BACKGROUND
Each year the Gaston County Public Library receives special funding from the State of North Carolina through its Aid to Public Libraries fund program. The actual amount allocated is not determined until November or December of each calendar year. This year, the grant to the Gaston County Public Library totaled $235,036, an increase of $20,036 over the budgeted amount of $215,000.
