The $3,750 in sponsorships will be used to offset expenses for the 29th Annual Cotton Ginning Days Festival.  Sponsorships provide funding for quality entertainment and print and electronic advertising for the festival.

BACKGROUND

The 29th Annual Cotton Ginning Days Festival will be held on October 7-9 in the Dallas Park.  The festival is co-sponsored by the Gaston Agricultural, Mechanical, and Textile Restoration Association (GAMTRA). The event features antique farm machinery, tractors, steam engines, two stages of entertainment, a heritage arts area, crafts, food, community displays, and an operational cotton gin.  The event has an average attendance of 30,000 people per year.
