BACKGROUND
The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division was awarded Federal Grant funds in the amount of $25,966 from the NC Department of Health and Human Services - Women, Infant, and Community Wellness Section/Infant and Community Health Branch. These grant funds will be used to support programs that help lower the infant mortality and low birthweight rates among minority populations. A portion of these funds will be used to support the Healthy Beginnings Program Manager position as well as program operating expenses. 116 Healthy Beginnings Agreement Addendum Revision #1.
