Increase Miscellaneous Revenue by $5,000 and appropriate $5,000 into the Equipment Repair account.

BACKGROUND

Gaston County Emergency Medical Services (GEMS) previously took over operational responsibility for (non-law enforcement related) searches for missing persons from Gaston County Emergency Management.  Part of the agreement to do so was for Emergency Management to help provide equipment funds for searches to GEMS.  These funds will be used to rehabilitate the pontoon boat that was surplussed to GEMS by the Gastonia Police Department.
