BACKGROUND

Project Arrival is considering a total investment of $70,000,000 to customize and upfit a manufacturing and distribution facility in Gaston County. The company intends to create at least 175 new jobs over five years in Gaston County. The required local match will be the Local Investment Grant previously approved in Board Action 2025-198 totaling $25,000. This will potentially increase property and sales tax revenue based upon Project Arrival choosing to locate its manufacturing plant in Gaston County and induce the company to provide good job opportunities and capital investment which will enhance the County’s ability to attract additional business and industry.
