BACKGROUND

The 21^st Century Learning Center in Gaston County supports students at Woodhill Elementary School, a Title 1 school. This federal grant funding provides 150 slots in an after-school program for K-5 students and is given in three installments for a total of $400,000 per year.  Woodhill has met attendance goals for the 3^rd installment in the amount of $128,000 to be used for the after-school program.
