BACKGROUND

 

In an attachment for Resolution 2026-203, $40,000 for a Software Rental contract in HR was included in the “Encumbrance” category. This contract was in process at the time that the carry forward list was being compiled for Board adoption but ultimately was unable to be encumbered prior to June 30th due to timing and delays. This administrative correction updates the carry forward estimates by category to show this $40,000 carry forward as one requiring Board approval instead of an Encumbrance, since it was not technically encumbered in FY26.
