BUDGET IMPACT
Appropriate Grant revenues $10,971. Additional County Funds Match Required $3,567.
Increase Grant revenues and program supplies by $10,971. Transfer required match of $3,567 from Senior Center Operating account to the program supplies. These funds are included in the approved FY’26 Senior Center Budget.
BACKGROUND
These funds will be used to host a Veteran’s Day breakfast honoring all veterans in the area, to purchase new Christmas decorations to replace well-loved and worn out ones, to host a Christmas BINGO complete with pizza and drinks, along with take-home prizes for everyone who attends, to host a Christmas party with games and prizes to celebrate this special season and will include food being served, to purchase new fitness equipment, as well as other equipment for senior programs.
