BACKGROUND
This Board Action and Budget Change Request transfers $64,000 from the Capital Fund to the General Fund for a necessary Idemia software update. The current software is expiring and the vendor will no longer provide support or maintenance. The capital funds were approved and budgeted for radios; the department is transferring the funds and delaying the radio purchase due to this unanticipated IT need. No additional County funds are being appropriated.
