BACKGROUND

Gaston County must reimburse Golden leaf funds that were awarded as an economic catalyst grant.  The Count used the funds to assist Nussbaum Automotive Solutions; however, the company did not meet the job requirements of its agreement with the County and is repaying the funding along with a penalty.  This Board Action appropriates the remaining $16,388 received from Nussbaum in February and March 2016 payments so that the County can reimburse Golden Leaf.
