BACKGROUND
The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division was awarded additional State Grant funds in the amount of $78,710 from the NC Department of Health and Human Services Local Community Support Section for Public Health Infrastructure: Local Workforce Development Funds. This grant allows the Public Health Department to make strategic investments and improvements in foundational capabilities to help strengthen, train, and retain the workforce. The funds from this Agreement Addendum can be used in a variety of ways to help the Public Health department reach Long-Term outcomes, which includes better serving and protecting the community. 117 Public Health Infrastructure: Local Workforce Development Funds Agreement Addendum Revision #1. Service period of award 6/1/2025 - 5/31/2026. These are non-County funds.
