BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

Increase State Grant revenue by $46,616 and appropriate $46,616 into the Drug Account. 

BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division received additional State Grant funds from the NC Division of Public Health for the Family Planning Program.  The Family Planning Program provides health services to low-income families.  The funds will be used to purchase long-term contraceptives.  These are Non-County funds.
