BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division was awarded additional Federal Grant funds in the amount of $1,756 from NC Department of Health and Human Services State Office of Child Fatality Prevention Branch for the Child Fatality Case Reporting and Prevention Program. This grant provides funding to help conduct child fatality reviews as well as developing materials to help with fatality prevention. The funds will be used for professional services to help with implementing this program. Service period of award 6/1/2025 - 5/31/2026. These are non-County funds.
