CIF: Increase transfers in from General Fund by $50,000. Increase transfers out to Capital Fund by $50,000.

Capital Fund: Increase transfers in from CIF by $50,000. Increase Furniture/Equipment>$5k expenses by $41,200. Increase Professional Services expenses by $8,800.

BACKGROUND

The audio and video equipment in the department's interview rooms is outdated and failing, compromising the quality of critical investigative interviews. Additionally, the department is in need of replacement radios from vehicle accidents. To address these urgent needs, the department is requesting a $50,000 transfer from the General Fund to the Capital Fund, via the CIF, to purchase replacement interview room A/V equipment and replacement radios.
