BACKGROUND

The County has a set fee structure in place for certain services that are rendered to the public.  Most fee adjustments relate to these types of services as well as public record/information.  State statutes require that public records be available at the costs associated with their reproduction, not origination.  Because of the state requirement, fees are reviewed annually to ensure that these services remain cost neutral.  Attached for your review is a listing of current and proposed changes.  Staff is recommending that the Board of Commissioners adopt the new fees and associated changes, effective July 1, 2021.  These changes to the fee schedule do not have a substantial impact on the County Budget.
