BACKGROUND
The North Carolina Department of Transportation Public Transportation Division affords each community transportation system the opportunity to apply for administrative, operating and capital grant funding. The request for FY24 will be for administrative only. The approved funding is to cover administrative salaries and administrative costs. The total funds requested is $224,058 including a local share of $33,610.
Approval of this Board Action authorizes the County Manager to submit the application, enter into an agreement with the NCDOT and provide the necessary assurances and certifications, including the required local match.
