BACKGROUND
In June 2025, DHHS Adoption Promotion Program received $211,144 in additional Adoption Promotion Funds to be used exclusively to enhance the Adoption Program. The funds rolled into the fund balance on June 30, 2025, and need to be appropriated out of the General fund balance. Therefore, if approved, the Board Action accepts and appropriates the $211,144 funds into the FY2026 Social Services budget in order to be expensed for the appropriate use. No County Funds Required.
