BACKGROUND
Gaston County was appropriated $7,853,000 from the Drinking Water and Wastewater Reserve in the Other Projects Category for the Dallas-High Shoals Water Line Project (Project # SRP-D-ARP-0075). The project will install the infrastructure necessary to provide water service between the Town of Dallas and the City of High Shoals.
The Dallas-High Shoals Water Interconnect Project was publicly advertised, and bids were received and publicly opened on August 28, 2025. A total of seven (7) bidders submitted for Contract 1- Waterlines with the results listed below. Classic City Mechanical, Inc. submitted the apparent low, responsive, responsible bid in the amount of $4,144,691.10.
