Grant funds in the amount of $8,000 will offset expenses for SWAC Soccer Tournament.

BACKGROUND

Gaston County Parks & Recreation hosted the NC State-wide Athletics (SWAC) Recreation Soccer Tournament at Poston Park on November 9-10, 2018.  The tournament included forty-two teams from all over the state.  Eight local teams participated and the remaining thirty-four teams most likely spent 2 nights in local hotels.
