BACKGROUND
In June, 2018, DHHS received $92,400 in additional Adoption Promotion Funds to be used exclusively to enhance the adoption program. These funds were deposited into revenues for FY17-18, therefore, were rolled into the Fund Balance. The Adoption Promotion funds received and deposited require appropriation to the FY2018-2019 Social Services Budget. These funds are carried forward into the new fiscal year until funds are expensed.
