BACKGROUND

Project Family 2025 is considering a total investment of $8,000,000 to customize and upfit a manufacturing facility in Gaston County and purchase machinery and equipment. The firm intends to create at least 30 new jobs over five years in Gaston County. This will potentially increase property and sales tax revenue based upon Project Family 2025 choosing to expand its manufacturing facility in Gaston County. This will also induce the company to provide good job opportunities and capital investment which will enhance the County’s ability to attract additional business and industry.
