Appropriate reimbursement revenue and increase FY 12 Civil Process Funds

BACKGROUND

With a grant from the NC Governor’s Crime Commission, the Sheriff’s Office was able to purchase body worn cameras June 2017. This purchase will allow for greater transparency for occurrences in the courts, jail, and out in the field. In addition, body worn cameras provide enhanced evidence with investigations. This board action is to appropriate the reimbursement received for the purchase.
