BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

Increase revenue account labeled Departmental Chargebacks, which are revenues received for Medicaid Transportation services, within the ACCESS Transportation budget in the amount of $80,000 and appropriate $80,000 in the Transportation of Clients account. 

BACKGROUND

Due to a 10% increase in demand for transportation services in FY15-16, the ACCESS Transportation Division has contracted with outside transportation providers to help assist when needed. In order to cover this additional expense, we are requesting to appropriate a portion of revenues received over the budgeted amount.
