BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division received Federal Grant funds from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for the Environmental Health Healthy Wells Project (Year 5). This Healthy Wells grant will strengthen Environmental Health's capacity for detecting, preventing, and controlling environmental health hazards through data-driven and evidence-based approaches. The funds will be used for the salaries, fringes, and operating expenses of the Environmental Health Data Analyst. These are Non-County funds.
