General Fund: Decrease the required County retirement match amount by $114.09 from $5,701.71 to $5,587.62 to reflect the change in the original award amount which is now $58,756.71. There is no change in the County health match portion which is $6,163.72. The required 20% County Funded Match is $11,751.34.

BACKGROUND
Gaston County was awarded a North Carolina Council for Women and Youth Involvement (NCCFWYI) Domestic Violence Grant. Due to recalculations of funding allocations, the CFWYI State Grant Award Amounts for Domestic Violence funds were adjusted in (Resolution #2024-437) adopted at the 12/10/2024 BOC meeting but the required 20% county match amount was not adjusted to reflect the decrease.
The original award amount for the Sexual Assault Grant (Resolution #2024-316) was $59,327.17 with a 20% County funded match of $11,865.43. This award amount was decreased by $570.46. The updated award amount is now $58,756.71 with a 20% county funded match of $11,751.34.
