BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Police Department received a reimbursement of $6,857.73 from the City of Charlotte.  This is a reimbursement for the HIDTA Task Force overtime worked by Gaston County Police Officer Jake Michael. Officer Michael is a member of the 2021 Piedmont HIDTA Task Force which is a joint agreement between law enforcement agencies to combat the use and abuse of controlled substances.
