BACKGROUND

The Economic Development Commission of Gaston County has partnered with community and workforce partners to facilitate Gaston County's 10th annual Manufacturing. Week which coincides with the National Manufacturing Day on October 2nd, and the 10th annual Gaston County Manufacturing Week is scheduled for September 28th - October 2nd, 2026, and will have daily events that will include manufacturers throughout the County. The objective of Manufacturing Week is to highlight the importance. of advanced manufacturing in our national and local economy and to draw attention to the many rewarding high-skilled advanced manufacturing jobs.
