BACKGROUND
The NC Council for Women & Youth Involvement (NC CFWYI) has awarded State funds for Domestic Violence (DV) programs.
The DV funding covers 86.38% of the shelter's Social Worker Ill salary; Divorce Filing Fees (DFF) support direct client needs such as dental, vision, prescriptions, food for shelter meals, and emergency food assistance. Marriage License Fees (MLF) support three part time Shelter Relief Operators who answer the 24/7 shelter crisis line.
