BACKGROUND

 

The Economic Development Commission of Gaston County has partnered with community and workforce partners to facilitate Gaston County's 8th annual Manufacturing Week which coincides with the National Manufacturing Day on October 4. Gaston County Manufacturing Week is scheduled for September 30 - October 4, 2024, and will have daily events that will include manufacturers throughout the County. One objective of Manufacturing Week is to highlight the importance of advanced manufacturing in our national and local economy and to draw attention to the many rewarding high-skilled advanced manufacturing jobs. Gaston County manufacturing companies add to the vitality and economic prosperity of our community through employee wages and purchase of goods and supplies.
