Sponsorship of $3,000 will be used to offset expenses for Cotton Ginning Days Festival.

BACKGROUND

The 32^nd Annual Cotton Ginning Days Festival was held on October 11-13, 2019.  The festival is sponsored by the Gaston Agricultural, Textile, and Mechanical Association (GATMA) and Gaston County Parks and Recreation.  The festival celebrates Gaston County’s textile heritage and features an operational cotton gin, engine show, arts and crafts, entertainment, food, kid’s activities, and a 1890s Historic Village.  The $3,000 sponsorship from the Farm Bureau will be used to offset festival expenses.
