BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

The sponsorships and donations in the amount of $2,500 will be used to offset expenses for Gaston County Senior Center programs.

BACKGROUND

The Gaston Cyclists sponsor the annual Dog Days of Dallas Bike Ride in July.  Riders have options of 25, 46, or 63 mile routes that start and finish at the Gaston County Senior Center in Dallas.  This year’s event was held on July 8, 2018.  All proceeds of the Dog Days of Dallas benefit Gaston County Senior Center programs.
