BACKGROUND

 

The Community Outreach Advocate will provide outreach services for the following victim service agencies: CAC - The Lighthouse, the Cathy Mabry Cloninger Center - A Domestic Violence Shelter, DSS Child Protective Services, the Family Justice Center; Law Enforcement Agencies: the Gaston County Sheriff’s Office and the Gaston County Police Department; DV and sexual assault service provider, Phoenix Counseling.  The Community Outreach Advocate will work with agencies to identify and develop prevention strategies, to update partners about organizational/personnel changes, and to provide data to stakeholders to better identify community needs.
