BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

Increase revenues by $55,000 and appropriate $55,000 into various Child Advocacy accounts.

BACKGROUND

The Child Advocacy Center was awarded a two-year grant through the Governor’s Crime Commission in 2015.  The grant expires September 30, 2017.  There are remaining funds available to be expensed before the grant expires.  In order to expend these funds, the additional funds need to be appropriated into the FY2018 budget.  The Center plans to use the funds to purchase equipment, furniture, program supplies, and provide additional training to community partners.
