BACKGROUND

The Brandon Creek neighborhood is currently divided between the Crowders Mountain Fire District and the Union Road Fire District five-mile service areas. A review of the existing fire district boundaries determined that a portion of the neighborhood falls within the Crowders Mountain Fire Department five-mile service area, with some individual parcels being split between both service areas.

To provide a consistent fire district designation for the Brandon Creek neighborhood, the fire district boundary has been redrawn to incorporate the entire neighborhood within the Crowders Mountain Fire Department, as it is the closest fire station to the neighborhood.
