BACKGROUND

Gaston County must reimburse Golden Leaf funds that were awarded as an economic catalyst grant.  The County used the funds to assist Nussbaum Automotive Solutions; however, the company did not meet the job requirements of its agreement with the County and is repaying the funding along with a penalty.  This Board Action appropriates the $48,057 received from Nussbaum for September 2015 - January 2016 so that the County can repay to Golden Leaf.
