BACKGROUND

The City of Cherryville requests that Gaston County administer and enforce the City’s Zoning Ordinance within Cherryville’s municipal limits and ETJ. County staff will review zoning and subdivision applications on behalf of the City and perform inspections as necessary. In exchange, the County will retain all permit and review fees collected in performance of these services.
