BACKGROUND

At the March 12, 2026 Fire Commission Meeting, a Certificate of Need (CON) was presented for Lucia-Riverbend Fire Department for 6.005 acres on south side of Stanley-Lucia Road in the 1700 block of said road. Site will be used for development of a 2nd fire station. The Fire Commission approved the Certificate of Need. The purchase is being made from Lucia-Riverbend’s available funds.
