BACKGROUND

Funds were set aside in the FY 2015-16 budget to purchase three (3) tablets in lieu of replacement MDTs (laptops) to allow for more functionality during both fire inspections and investigations by field personnel.  Software and specification limitations/restrictions resulted in the final selection of the GETAC F110 Tablet but bid information was not confirmed until after the start of the new FY 2016-17.  These funds need to be transferred to proceed with the issuance of a Purchase Order.
