BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Board of Commissioners approved the Gaston County Personnel Policy Manual to be effective July 1, 2010. Police Department is requesting a revision to the residency requirement allowing sworn personnel to reside within a 40-mile radius of Gaston County Police Department Headquarters.
