BACKGROUND
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARP) appropriation for the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act will fund a Sexual Assault Advocate, directly improving HUSN’s capacity to provide specialized, compassionate, and effective services to survivors of sexual assault. By enhancing direct support, improving access to specialized services, strengthening community collaboration, and ensuring ongoing case management, Hope United will create a safer, more supportive environment for Sexual Assault Survivors. Additionally, essential programmatic supplies will be funded, further aiding these vital services. The grant period is August 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025.
