BACKGROUND
Gaston County was awarded a North Carolina Council for Women and Youth Involvement (NCCFWYI) Sexual Assault grant. Due to recalculations of funding allocations, the CFWYI State Grant Award Amounts for Sexual Assault funds were adjusted in (Resolution #2024-437) adopted at the 12/10/2024 BOC meeting but the required 20% county match amount was not adjusted to reflect the increase.
The original award amount for the Sexual Assault Grant (Resolution #2024-315) was $31,832.74 with a 20% County funded match of $6,366.55. This award amount was increased by $303.99. The updated award amount is now $32,136.73 with a 20% County funded match of $6,427.35.
