BACKGROUND
The Gaston County Department of Social Services received a donation from an anonymous donor for the 2025 season of Hope for the Holidays Project in the amount of $50,000 to purchase Christmas gifts for children in need in Gaston County. The donation offsets budgeted revenues and returns County funds to General Fund fund balance.
